Hi, my name is Alicia, and I'm addicted to Xena (hi, Alicia). I'm a Catholic Christian, a writer (of long essays and occasionally poetry or fiction), a constant daydreamer, a babysitter, an editor, and a lover of music and poetry. My posts tend to be essays, my emotions are on my shirtsleeves, and I'm so grateful for the crazy wonderful group of people who have come into my life here on the Internet.

Right now I'm living in my own little apartment in Mesa and working through temp jobs to build an office resume. It's not a bad life at all. But someday...
* I want to understand all these things I don't understand yet. It's one of the reasons I love Xena, and Buffy, Harry Potter, Angel, Ninja Turtles, Star Wars, Narnia, and all my assorted fandoms that I don't have room to list. It's about metaphor. Sometimes it explains things we can't otherwise understand.
* I'd like to edit my own magazine. It would be called Journey, and it would be about all the steps we take on our journeys--essays, fiction, interviews, how-to pieces, and artwork.
* I'd like to continue building relationships with all of you and learn more and more about this family that seems to be coming together all around me.
